An extra star for the low price
This is a pretty interesting game, however the directional pad is a bit iffy. Sometimes it doesn't react to a touch, and other times it overreacts, sending the character two spaces instead of one. A big deal if you're being pursued.
Also, a heads up to other players looking to try this, it's not turn based. Your health drops and your enemies move even when you stand still.
My only complaints apart from the iffy d-pad is that I would like to have the entire screen to see the area around me, be able to move by tapping around my character, have the character sprite show if I have a sword, treasure or nothing, and allow a two-finger tap to pull up map/pause. It would help clean up the interface a bit.
I feel it was worth it for the current price, but I hope the developer keeps working on it.
Bug: The second time I played I tapped the screen a few times to see if I cold move that way and the game locked up. The overall map appeared and no matter what I did it wouldn't go away. Then after a few seconds I kept hearing the map open/close sound over and over but nothing changed on screen. This is in iOS 4.
